 Subject: Steel Ram Air Hoods for the 5.9 r/t?

I was wondering if anyone knows of any company that makes a steel (or just not fiberglass or carbon) ram air hood for a 2001 5.9 R/T, with the one large single intake in the middle of the hood. the one that is rounded and smooth, and not the ones that are kind of boxy looking. I heard that the fiberglass ones dont look that good when they are painted because you can still see the difference between the metal and the fiberglass. any input would help. thanks.

Have yet to see one. Only steel I've seen are cowl hoods. Fiberglass can be of very good quality. Finish is highly dependant on the prep work. i.e. sanding. Some hoods need more work than others. http://www.profinish-proglass.com/ is very high quality as well as http://www.cervinis.com/ Many show cars have glass.
