Hmm, maybe you should race the accord on a three lane road, that way the faster traffic, such as my truck, can get around instead of waiting for you to finish? j/k good luck with the race. so far, the only Ricer that's given me problems isn't a true ricer. More of a kraut (I'm german, so I can say that). It was a 02 Volkswagen Golf GTi. Very quick little car for being a turbo 4. I met him in a parking lot and he claims 14.9's box stock off the showroom floor. I ran a 14.9 in the fall with mine, so it should have been a closer race. Oh well, have fun, and stay away from the long arm of the law.

NO DAMN WAY! My best bud drives a 2000 GTI, we've raced twice and both times my 4.7 has absolutely ran away from him! All I have is intake and exhaust... his was bone stock at the time, but now has a custom K&N intake that I built for him 2 weeks ago. I dunno, maybe he just can't drive stick that well!

The 2002 GTi has the boost turned up from the factory. Higher than past years. I have ridden in a freinds GTi with mild mods and it is pretty scary for a little car.

Is the style Accord you will be racing? This guy had fake Dual Exhaust and some racing stickers on his stock 4 cylinder Accord!
I don't like Ricers if you haven't noticed LOL!
Ricers by definition : A group of hot rod wannabe's that take for the most part a base model economy car (Civics', etc) and install all sorts of goofy sh!t like Shopping Cart Spoilers, Cutting the springs to lower the car, ridiculous exhaust tips and/or mufflers (Kazoo's that do NOTHING but make it sound like a pissed off weed eater), Neon Lights, non-functional Hood Scoops, and more than anything else RACING STICKERS while 99% of them rarely perform ANY mods to the Engine itself! The real drag racers think of these people as POSERS!

Well. Beating a stock Accord will satisfy your argument with your friend.
But it is a lot more fun to beat a Riced Accord because that owner has all the B.S. stickers, Kazoo (noisemaker), and wings saying "look at how bad ass my (economy) car is!"

I had a kid at my school that kept bad mouthin me and my truck. He has said for the past 2yrs that he has a 502ci in his slightly lifted 4x4 chubby but every time i asked to see under the hood he was gone before i got there or he said he didnt have time. (im prety sure its a 305) but anyways this other kid said why dont you two go race so i went up to him after school and said lets go. i followed him around for 30min pulled up next to him and he floored it i did the same and lets put it this way if that WAS a 502 than it was a prety wimpy one and if i can beat that you should be able to beat your friend import
by the way my truck is a 91 r/c 5.2L auto with the 5.9L tb and plastic restrictor plate removed

so what do you have done to your truck other than the flowmasters?
if you want a cheap mod see if you can find a old 5.9L tb from a junk yard for a descent price swap the sensors and injectors and get a new spacer gasket and bolt it up it will improve the throttle response and give might take .5-1 second off of your 0-60 times

many worth mentioning. basically a 3rd owner
ride that has been taken care of. i am gettin a
k&n filter once my new regular one wearz out,
and a glass packed chrome tip from JC

well ill tell you what i want to do.
Hooker 3" full legnth ceramic coated headers
possibly the Hughes engines 390 stroker kit
dump the tbi and go carborated
Hughes 1423 cam grind
Roller rockers
shift kit
Super charger posibly
What i plan to do in the next year is
3" hooker headers
360 intake
flowmaster 50 series Delta Flow
hughes engines 1423 cam and roller rockers and also put my 360 tb back on
deffinatly get the K&N i noticed a slit difference in my throttle response. Another thing i would do is find a 360 Throttle body off of a TBI 360 (87-93 i think) mine is off of a 87 swap all of the 318 sensors and injectors over and bolt it back on. It really makes a difference in throttle response. I spent $40.00 for one and spent $10.00 for a new gasket. I've never heard of a ZX300! So either you simply made a type-o, which we all do, or you're full of sh!te.
I think you meant a Nissan 300Z Twin Turbo. They were great. 300 HP but they blew smoke at full throttle and didn't last as long.
It will however, beat a Dakota unless it is seriously modified.
It's not Rice unless you added goofy sh!t to it like a rediculous spoiler or some useless lights, etc.

BTW, I once saw a really bad ass Duster at the track. A slant six doing low 11's! It sounded friggin' wicked with that built up, lopin' straigh six!

I'd like to see a Dakota launch off the light with the front wheel off the ground. It may need to lose some weight first.
