Subject: 95 stock sport ?'s IP: Logged
Message: Hi I am new to the board, I have a 95 Sport Auto with 3.55's and is bone stock. I ran consistent 15.4's and 15.5s at the track and I was wondering if that was respectable.
Also I have read a lot abut 318 to 360 swaps and I was wondering if I took the engine and wiring out of a 95 ram with a 360 what will I need besides a flexplate if anything? And what have people run in the 1/4 with a similar set up with minor mods?

Message: You don't need to take the wiring but you should get a 360 computer. The 318 computer will run the 360 but not real well. You will need a 360 flexplate and make sure you get the 360 damper off that Ram motor, since the 318 and 360 are balanced differently.
You might also want to get some bigger injectors. I've found on my '95 that we have pretty wimpy injectors on the 318. You'll want a little more fuel with the 360 (same reason to get the 360 pcm, more suitable fuel curve for the bigger motor).
