Subject: HO intake installation - need help! IP: Logged
Message: im in the middle on installing the HO cams and intake and was noticing there is no threads in intake for my sensor (not quite sure what type of sensor it is). Has anyone out there run into this problem and if so how do you get the sensor to fit in the HO intake?

Message: Hi Josh,
That would be your IAT (Intake Air Temp) sensor. You should relocate it to your intake tube.

Message: thanks for the info. i went ahead and put the engine back together with the old intake. the cams work great. lots of low end power. i'll probably install the HO intake in a few days, but i have just one more question - if the IAT sensor can be relocated to the intake tube then should there be something to fill up the hole on the HO intake manifold where the sensor is supposed to go?
