Message: Sorry I missed your post the first time. I'm not sure about motor mounts. You will definitely need a V8 computer, a new wiring harness, and a flexplate for the 5.2 motor. While it's not easy, I've heard it's not a terrible job either. It's come up in a couple of conversations I've had with Marty at KRC Performance. He could probably give you some pretty specific guidance. Good luck.

Message: The mounts are the same. Try to get the same year engine as you truck that way sensors are the same and has an EGR the newer engines are EGRless. It just makes it easier. If you can get a V8 harnes get it but if you cant find one you can just ad the 7 and 8 injector plugs, find a dodge harnes and cut it open and pull out 2 injectors then just add it to your V6 harnes. At your computer pin locations 17 and 18 are empty plug in injector 7 into 17 and 18 is injector 8.The other wires are grounds they have to ground out in your harnes just follow your existing plugs and solder them in place, thats it the rest of the harnes is the same but you will need a V8 computer. the rest of the swap is easy. I dont think that a manual transmision will hold uo though.you may need a V8 trany.

Message: That's true on the tranny. I wasn't paying attention and thought you had an auto. I think you have an AX-15 tranny and that probably won't hold up. You need to get an NV3500 from a 95-99 Dak 318, or a 94-01 Ram 318. Or you could swap in an auto but that would be more work. And rather than a flexplate, you'll need the correct flywheel for a 318.
