Subject: How is your Exhaust run on 87-96 Dak's IP: Logged
Message: I am wondering how everyone here with a 2wd 87-96 V8 Dak is running their dual exhaust?? Are you running both pipes down the passenger side or what other options are there?? Thanks, dakota340@msn.com

Message: I had a '92 5,2 RC Sport before it was totalled last Sept. One of the best mods I did to it was running the exhaust through the bumper. I used 2-4" diameter "Huge Hanna" tips through holes cut just outboard of the inner mounting brackets. Upstream on the pipes was an aftermarket converter feeding into a Flowmaster 70 (less cabin noise) 3" in and dual 2 1/2" out. You need a real patient pipe bender to pull it off. Be sure that the left side pipe doesn't go over the top of the rear end. Lot of work / awesome results. You won't need a y-pipe with a Flowmaster. I also had a little "L" bracket on the left side to move the spare tire right slightly. Good luck.
