Subject: winter tires on my R/T IP: Logged
Message: Ok so if I'm correct my r/t is dropped an inch from the factory. Right now I have a set of nitto nt-450 extreme's on there. LOVE them when it's dry but when it's wet I get a lil' worried heh, anyhow I haven't used them in the snow yet this will be the first year but I'm anticipating they will fail horribly heh. My question is I was thinking about picking up a set of stock sport rims or something on ebay and throwing on some decent all-terrain tires to use for the winter. First question, will this be unhealther for my gears/trans ball joints etc .. second question what size tire can I go with? .. I want something bigger than stock but nothing extreme at all... I dont' NEED stock dodge rims but it would be nice, if I can find a set of cheap bullets or something that would be fine too. what do you think??
Thanks!

Message: Any wheel tire combo for a Dakota will work on the R/T. Woudl be easier/cheaper to go with 15" rims and just get some dedicated snow tires for them.
