Message: I have a 91 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 w/ 5.2L V8 auto transmission. After a grueling 187000 miles put on it, the transmission gave out. I was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to get a transmission rebuilt for cheap or where I might be able to find another one for real cheap? If I can't get anything under 1,200, it looks as though this car is going to the graveyard...we're on the lookout at junk yards but to no avail yet.
