we have a 2000 Z28 that dynoed 307 rwhp (in the texas summer) with only a slp y-pipe, granitellie air lid and mass air flow sensor, flowmaster muffler, and taylor plug wires. Since then we added a SLP loud mouth exhaust, fuel inrichment, and a hypertech power programmer. i cant convince my dad to run it at the track because he thinks it wont do that well with it having 2.73 gears (auto). What do you think it will run? i live in DFW also and run my truck at kennedale and have beat several new stock Z28's but my parents is faster than any i have ever ridin in.

If I may, I would say to try it out. The LS1 has a wide torque curve so the 2.73 ratio won't hurt the T/A as bad as most other vehicles. I won't speculate at the E.T. but with those mods it should be pretty decent.

BTW, my wife tried to race a Formula on her way home from work today. I guess she was feeling her oats since we turned a good time for a STOCK T/A. He blew her doors off. Hehe

I would say that with those mods and traction that you would be between an 8.3 and 8.6 depending on the way that you drive and how sticky the tires are. I run an 8.1 to an 8.3 on drag radials without the spray. The only mods that i have are lid, cutout, plugs, wires, 3500 stall, ported and polished throttle body, and all free mods. With nitrous i ran a 7.2 on welds and the bottle (100 shot wet).If your car is auot go with the stall and the spray, with good tires you will be sure to be a mid to low 7 in the 1/8. If it's 6spd go with the spray and tires.

I was driving my 91 dakota.(believe it or not)
It is a regular cab 5.2L with a flowmaster
exaust, platinum plugs, and a good driver.
(just kidding!) come to think of it, i think is was
a stupid v6. that a$$. oh well. i was going
about 100 and let him pass me. then i opened
it up and passed him waving goodbye goin
120mph. i like chevy so i am not hating on the
bowtie but i also beat a car with a 350 4bbl. it
was ragged tho so that doesn't really count.
