WOW!! I had no idea. I have always turned my flywheels.

After 24hrs I can definetly tell that is a heck of a lot better than stock. It shifts smoother now than when it was new. Nice to get automatic smoothness with a stick!

Now I do have a 450-500 mile break in period, so unfortunatly I have yet to shift above 3000. Now next week I will shift at 5000+

I was told not to worry about the break in period. It only applies to built motors. Ive givin mine some high rpm acceration runs before 500mi so it should be ok. Go ahead and let 'er rip, you know you want too :)

Just thought I would add my 2 cents like everyone does. I installed my CDF about 3000 miles ago. Just went 4 Wheelin this weekend and was amazed at how well it did. If it did as well as it did on my truck 4 Wheelin , I dont think you have anything to worry about it lasting a good while. By the way, I dont just ease through puddles and creep up hills, nor is my truck close to stock, motor or drivetrain wise. Whenever this one finally does go out, if Im not to old to drive, I will definetly be installing another!!

Kota, I had about 68,000 miles on my truck when I put the CDF in. I was already on my second factory clutch (I'm not to easy em either). I can tell a big difference in the grab factor. Also the pedal was much better and even lighter after the CDF, which i couldnt believe. Tons better than stock in my truck. Especially when I took it offroad I could tell even more. Hope this helps.

It wasnt that bad. If it was engaged it wouldnt slip if i got on it or anything. On the other hand it wouldnt grab hard if i tried to like double clutch in second while i was rolling or anything. It would just kinda do the bog thing where it slowly grabbed. I say slowly, of course it only took a couple seconds but i like letting out on the clutch and it grabbing at that instant.

I ordered everything from truckperformance.com including the centerforce throwout bearing (very nice). You might can shop around and get it cheaper. The only thing I dont like about it was that it doesnt come with a clutch alignment tool. Can you believe that? I just got a universal clutch alignment tool from the local auto parts store for 12 bucks. Ended up working better than any other alignment tool Ive ever used. plus I still have it to use on any other car :-) The instructions were very good step by step too for anyone thats not fimiliar with clutch replacement.
