 Subject: 4.7 coils, + and - wires?

I have a question on the wiring for the coils on the 4.7 (2000).
Which wire is the negative and which one is the positive?
I can't tell from the colors, what ever happened to using black and red?

Well with a few hundred miles of wire hundreds of wires and alot of splices I doubt that just useing red and black would cut it! Seeing how they try to stay with 8-10 basic colors they then have to use different color stripes and stripe patterns on the wires. Get a multi-meter or test light!! You could also look at the service manual and it would tell you! I worked on a car once that someone rewired. They did a good job except for the fact that all of the wires were exactly the same color!
