Subject: Anyone have pics of injectors on M-1? IP: Logged
Message: I'm going to grind down the fuel rail spacers tomorrow (friday) and would like to see some pictures of the injectors seated in the M-1 after shortening the spacers. I don't want to push the injectors down and them have to pull them up unless I have to, so I was going to pull the spacers and grind off about 3/32 then slip them back in and press the fuel rails down on top of them. This way there is less chance of damaging the o-rings and getting any dirt down in the runners. So if anyone has some pictures or could take a picture to give me an ideal of how far down they should set that would be great! Thanks!

Message: Why are you grinding them down? Are you doing a mod that requires you to grind them?
BTW...where in Dallas are you? Are you apart of any Dallas clubs?

Message: they should bottom out in the boss, like they do in the stock manifold. you will not have to pull up on them, and you will not damage the o-ring.
Mike, read the thread "for thoes who have a M-1" in the performance column
-Eric Injection is nice, but i'd rather be blown. 5.2L, 5speed. Powerdyne SC, 50mm TB, 2bbl M-1, 1.7RR's, MSD 6BTM, ciramic JBA headers, 3" carsound cat, dumped gibson

Message: As Eric said the spacers on the Mopar kit are a little to long and this causes a hesitation right off idle. By grinding them down you move the injector closer to the port and this helps the hesitation greatly from what I was told.
Eric, did this help any hesitation you might have had?

Message: throttle responce seems a bit better. i think my 52mm TB is a little too big, so i still have a small bog, but it dosent seem as bad
