 Subject: Rear-End Size?

I've heard people talking about 8.25 vs 9.25 for their rear-end size. I have a 99 SLT CC Auto with 5.2. Where do I find out what size mine is? I'm looking to order a set of replacement gears, and this seems like pretty important info. Thanks!

Most Daks came with the 8.25" or 10 bolt rear-end, although some have come with the larger 9.25" or 12 bolt rear-end....I have not read about any specific reason, it must just be whats on the shelf when they assembled them.

I think the consensus was that from 99 up (maybe 2000 up?) they all come with the 9.25" rear.

Go look at your rear (no, the other one silly) and count the number of bolts. Makes it pretty simple in my book.
