Subject: What tools are needed? IP: Logged
Message: Hello all,
I was wondering what tools will be needed to do the HO cam install besides the normal wrenchs and stuff.. and anyone know the part number for the wedge tool? and where you can get it? Thanks in advance for the replies.

They sell the tool and the instructions for doing the HO Cam install. It's really wasy to do, even by yourself. It's better if you got a buddy to help you with an extra set of hands and eyes.

Message: Torque wrench is definitely a requirement. There are too many things that can go wrong with the wrong torque specs where you're going to be working :)

Message: Normal as in, Channel locks, torque wrenchs, and socket wrenchs.

Message: you'll need a 15mm to pull the cam gear off, a 10mm to pull the cam "bearing" caps off, and if you really need it, the wedge tool.
