My 318 blows blue smoke whenever I let it idle for a while, when I take off again. A cloud of blue smoke comes from my exhaust but it doesn't last very long. I figure it's either a stuck control ring or leaky valve seals but I don't know for sure. I know it's not compression rings cause I checked it and all cyls. are good. If anyone has any ideas or suggestions, (other than burning it) please let me know. Peace.

Pull your heads off and have them worked. Ported, polished, new seals the works. You'll notice a big difference in performace, not to mention you cure the smokin.

what ever is wrong with your truck, the oil additive will not fix it. the only way to cure the problem, is to either actually tear into the engine and FIX the problem, or pay someone to FIX the problem.
if a problem occors and is not delt with, it usuall leady to more problems
