Message: I recently got my 2003 4.7 dakota and im looking for a good intake that will add HP. Ive been seaqrching for a while and i know i dont want a homebrew but the two major ones im debating about are the K&N FIPK and the 360 air intake. they both use a KN cone but the 360 dosent have a heat shield and the kn does big price diffrence though. Message: I paid the extra for the K&N - that doesn't mean its better, it just means that when it came to spending my money on something, I bought from the company with the golden reputation. No matter what intake you get, remove the rubber flap.

Message: The 360AirIntakez looks better than the K&N...Reputation is small potatoes for a mod this simple and effective. Cost may be an issue...but it comes down to the sheer beauty of the thing, 360 has got it hands down. The only thing close is the Z-Tube, but I think since the bends are less drastic than the Z-Tube, the 360 has to get better performance.
