Message: I was wondering, if I installed the mbrp dual exhaust on my 2002 dodge dakota, with the 4.7 liter. Is there anyway that the hitch would still fit? Also, I live in NJ, and there aren't many if any people I know or trust installing this dual exhaust on my truck. Does any1 know any1 in NJ that I oculd bring my truck to and not have to worry. I live by toms river if that helps. Thanks.

Message: Steve, I just got the dual MBRP setup for my birthday from the rents. DAMN! that's all I gotta say. I have an '01 CC Motorsports Edition Dak, 4.7. Install on the system took maybe an hour hour and a half. If you can make a sandwhich, you can put this system on. It's easy. I welded mine up there, but It does come with clamps, which would make it easier. But the MBRP is a sweet sweet system! Check Premier Automotive for the system. http://www.premier-automotive.net/

Message: I HAVE THE SAME 2001 MOTORSPORTS EDITION TRUCK AND AM ORDERING THE SAME KIT. I AM A MBRP DEALER AND THEY TOLD ME THAT IT IS POSSIBLE TO FIT A HIDDEN HITCH ON THE TRUCK BUT THAT THERE WOULD BE SOME MODS NECASSARY. I WILL BE INSTALLING THE CUDA STYLE SYSTEM WITH THE ROLLPAN ALONG WITH A HITCH ON MINE SO IF YOU WANT TO WAIT A LITTLE I WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW I MADE OUT. ANHYONE INTERESTED IN A KIT CAN CONTACT ME AT 1-800-244-7669. I HAVE BEEN SELLING MBRP FOR OVER 4 YEARS NOW AND THY ARE GREAT PEOPLE TO WORK WITH.

Message: The MBRP split rear duals will work with a factory hitch and 31" Spare, IF you pay them another $80 to have them make 27" long 2.25" inlet, 2.5" outlet tips instead of the (angled down) 3.5" tip that comes standard. They will tell you it will work, but I learned the expensive way.

Message: WHEN I TALKED TO MBRP I ONLY INQUIRED ABOUT THE CUDA SETUP WHICH I BELIEVE RUNS A LITTLE DIFFERENTLY DOWN THE FRAME.

Message: IT is true that the standard MBRP Dual will not allow you to put a hitch on the truck. The rear hangers bolt into the same hole the hitch would use. I had this problem so I took my truck to an exhaust shop and had them bend the tips out on 45s then installed my hitch. I kinda like the looks of it now and it keeps the exhaust off the front of my camper. And yes the MBRP sounds so sweet

Message: The MBRP is by far my fav. sounding exhaust i have ever heard. I tried and tried to make the hitch fit, but its just a no go. Like chris and Zeke said, you'd have to get different tips/tubes. I've wanted to get something done, but havent had the funds or the time. I'm just living with out the hitch, the sound alone is worth it. :)
