It would make sense that when they release the new body style, they would also release the new 5.7L, but that's how I would do it. There's really no telling when they'll do it.

new body style =( daks look to good, i would keep it the same, and they did that with the new rams well with the 3.7s and the 4.7s
and the new body style is 04 right? so it may be delayed in the daks till then, who knows.....

i think the 5.7 will not go in the R.T i think the 4.7H.O will go in the R.T when they get rid uf the 5.9L

A website I've found useful for the engine upgrades and predictions is Edmunds.com. So far they've been right on about every major upgrade and performance increase for the past 3 1/2-4 years. They may get the info after some of the performance and new car mags, but they are right on time and time again.
