Subject: N20 bottle opener?? why is it needed??

Message:
Why can you just not leave your bottle open all the time?? Will this wear out your selonoid prematurely??

Thanks,
Nathaniel

Well, if the bottle is open all the time, it'll certainly run out a hell of a lot sooner. There will always be a little loss due to leaks and such as well. It's not a safe practice at all.

Do you really want 1020 psi running through hose all the time?

The line has to have a burst strength of 1020 psi plus a safety factor. possibly a 1.5 times factor. So I do not think that the pressure on the line is a valid answer. If anything I am worried about selinoid wear.

Also the lines had better not leak. People are putting the bottles in cabs and of course nozzles in the engine compartment. with this you have fittings in these locations and little leaks are not acceptable here.

I may be wrong, I am not sure.

Thanks,

Nathaniel
