I have a 2000 R/T CC and I was wondering if anyone knows if the 180 stat has to go in when I do the chip. I have the stage 2 Jet Chip and I know that a lot of you do not like it and only recommend the mopar pcm, but I work in a performance shop and got my chip at cost and I also talked to a lot of dodge guys where I live and they had nothing bad to say so I'm gonna give it a try. But do you guys know if it has to be done and if so how do I replace it??

Yes you need to change the thermostat.
Follow the upper radiator to the engine. There will be the thermostat housing. 2 bolts and the hose clamp.
