Heres the situation:
i put in a brand new crate short block 360 in my 92 dak, ec, lowered. i snapped the previous rear end in half about 3 weeks ago. the junk yard bought me a brand new one from the factory. its installed now. Well today at idle, in 87 degree weather on the highway, i hit the gas nice and slow (like a normal driver), and the engine revved for 1 second and then caught at like 1200 rpm, and jerked me forward harshly. the trans mission was rebuilt(w/a shift kit) @ 100K mi. and now has 137K mi. the transmission was pressure flushed 4 weeks ago, so everything should be fine.
WHAT DOES THIS PROBLEM SOUND LIKE TO YOU???

I think it could be the u joints(b/c of all the torque)??

My mechanic says its in the tranny... i thnk he just wants my $$$.

HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I think you need to have the nut behind the steering wheel examined :):) All joking aside I would have to agree with your Tech. Bad u-joint will not cause slipping then hard launch. It is quite possable that they power flush could have dislodged something or just out right dammaged it. If you are lucky it is just a solenoid or the valve body. I almost wounder what their so called rebuild included. Please people if you are not prepared to buy or rebuild your transmission do not have it power flushed!!! The power flush is OK for a last-resort to see if it will fix the problem but it should not be used so gingerly. If you do proper maintanence(sp) on your truck and use quality syntetic fluid you should never need to "power flush" the trany!!! The solvents used in this process can be hard on seal material and may dislodge large pieces of varnish causeing a blockage.
