Message: Robert Shaw makes a good one and they are available at speedtweaks, and some other stores too. The stat works well with the air intake system installed and an exhaust system as well as other things. Defently go with the 180 because the 160 may cause the MIL lite to come on.
There are tonns on threads on this, have a look and see what everyone else has to say.

Message: The 160 will really cool down your motor. The real test for me will be this winter. I'll have to see if th heater will keep warm enough.
Save yourself some time and buy local. My Autozone carries it for the same price as Speedtweeks. This way you won't have to wait or pay shipping.

Message: 160 is not good, something about closed loop
and open loop. 180 stat is perfect, Robert

Message: Found out the hard way myself. Installed a 160 and everything was fine until it cooled down for several days. Light is on, reset it and it keeps coming back on. 180 going in this week.
