Did you add you MBRP seperate from any other mod? If so, did you notice any low end loss, or high end gain? Did your milage change? I'm almost sold on the MBRP just based on what I've heard about the quality of the exhaust vs. others. Do you have, or know where I might find a sound clip? I almost ordered one this weekend before my radiator let go, but I have a feeling I'll have one before long.

It was my first mod I guess you would say. In fact, because of a group buy ,I bought it as my first aftermarket part. I added it before I did anything else but an oil change. So I can tell you exactly what it changed.

At first, I thought there was some low end loss, but the strength seem to have been moved more towars the mid-range. My high-end power I will explain more towards the end.

I never believed people when they talked of muffler break-in periods. A couple months passed by and no changes in sound or power. After a long hot trip on the highway for a whole day, I noticed I could hear my exhaust a lot more when I got home. I let the truck cool off and a few hours later I came back only to notice that louder deep note was still there. I also noticed my low-end now felt better. "Wow, this is odd," I thought, "where did this come from?"

I never do anything to get my exhaust real hot, but that 6 hour drive in 90-100 degree weather woke it right up! Do you lose low-end torque, at first, but it breaks in with time.

I have no idea if my mileage changed. The mileage probably got better on paper or controlled testing, but not for me. When you install an aftermarket exhaust like the MBRP, you find yourself mashing the gas just to hear it. That can't be good for mileage.

The build quality of the exhaust is exceptional. The welds are professional and not even a visual defect in the parts could be spotted. I went with the single out, but a lot of people have the duals. I can only tell you what I know about the single. When I dropped my truck I went to a turndown tip and the after-muffler pipes now sit in a corner of my garage next to shovels and rakes.

The exhaust note is almost muted at high RPM with the stock cat in the way. Once that paper weight is removed, your high end will be amazing. My tires had a definite chirp when shifting from second to third. Now they have more a sqeek because of my recent suspension modifications. It is a must that you do something to about your cat or the MBRP is working with only one nut.

If you have any more questions, just ask!

Thats quite good, thanks. I must say I'm excited pondering this addition, and how it might help with other mods. How much power would you say you got from the exhaust with your cat in place. I may do a high flow cat at some point, but for now, it'll have to wait.

I could feel it mostly in the mid range, the rest was purely sound. The stock exhaust system isn't a terribly bad one you have to remember.
