Subject: 2.02 Ported Heads IP: Logged
Message: Hey I just recently purchised 2.02 Ported R/T Heads and I was wondering how hard are they to install? Also how hard are throttle bodies to install?

Message: Get a new timing chain (double roller)-- what other mods????? Do a CAM too-- as the stocker on a 2.02 setup will suck ass....
Expect 2-3 afternoons to do it methodically... and not miss anything. That's what it took here.

krc 220 cam
m1-2bbl mani
ford motorsport 24# injectors
mopar torque converter
180 thermo
i also want to put in a shift kit in the near future, anyone have any experience with the transgo kit or the level 10 kit?

Message: who did your manifold? the TB takes about 15-20 min to install.
-Eric Injection is nice, but i'd rather be blown. 5.2L, 5speed. Powerdyne SC, 50mm TB, 2bbl M-1, 1.7RR's, MSD 6BTM, ciramic JBA headers, carsound cat, dumped gibson

Will I loose a lot of torque with the 2.02 heads and stock cam if I go with 1.7 rockers?
This combo with an M1, F&B 50mm, and Flowmaster Catback
