Message: Hey I was wondering people say they made their V8's louder by having bigger cams can they do this or does anybody no how to make your engine loud on a 4.7L without any mods or Mufflers?

Message: Go down to your local muffler shop and have them install a "cut-out". They should know what you are talking about. It's a small section that can be removed for racing or off-road use only. Not legal for everyday use. But, you could always just leave it off! Second option would be to go to the same muffler shop. Have them take off all the pipes after your muffler. Then have them install a "turn down". It's a pipe with the tip of it pointed down. Reverbs off the ground very nice. Very loud! Both options are very cheap!

Message: or you could just get out a hack saw and cut off your pipes just after the exhaust manifolds. i guarantee they'll be loud then.

Message: i know you don't wanna do anything to your exhaust but i recomend removing your cat it gives your more hp and makes it way louder i love it just make sure you set up a system when you can slide it back in again to pass air care

Message: Forgot to mention that the exhaist gets slightly louder over time, not sure how many mile syou have on it but on my factory by about 1500 miles it was startignt o get a growl... Nothing compared to the gibson but a growl none the less.
