I am going to piggyback your question with another question on topic. If the 4.7 liter engine has a TB that out flows the 5.9 and the 5.9 makes more HP and Tq. then 4.7 why enlarge the 4.7 TB at all?? It seems to me to be a money maker more then anything?

I would have to agree if I hadn't heard from a couple of reliable sources about the larger TB. One thine you have to do to get the 4.7 to run is a free flowing exahust and I don't mean a cat back I mean high flow cat. If you port the step off of the TB above the blade then it will sharpen throttle response greatly and make it a true 65mm TB.

take the TB off, dremel the lip out of the inside.
dont remove any material from around the
throttle blade. polish it with a polishing wheel.
I used 2 sanding wheels, and one polishing
wheel to get the job done, approx 1 hour from
removing the TB to reinstalling. the TB is just
attached with 3 bolts, remove the stock airhat,
and unbolt the TB. Good luck. I have pics of
my finished TB on my site.

Increaseing air flow will not help NO2 system at all. The O2 in NO2 stands for 2 molacues of oxygen for ever molacue of nitrogen. So you are basicly injecting oxygen into you engine when you do this. NO2 is an oxidizer(adds oxygen)and acts as a catalyst to combustion. It is also not worth while to do cold air kit with NO2 as NO2 will cool the hell out of the intake charge as it is sprayed. In the old days it was rather common to have solinoids freeze over. With a NO2 set up the pistons, rings, heads crank and rods are were your money is best spent.
