Subject: Another ground problem IP: Logged
Message: www.geocities.com/waltherone/ground.html
I was reconnecting a ground I noticed loose the other day when I found these two not connected to anything as well!! The one with two straps from it is grounded in two places to the frame (fender well and firewall) and the other is grounded to the same spot on the fender well. What should the OTHER ends be connected to??
The one on the drivers side firewall I just grounded to a bolt on the cyl head covers, that's ok right?

Message: Just hook them up to metal, it helps keep engine noise out of the stereo, etc. Not critical by all means.

Message: Actually, unless your motor is well grounded, it will run terribly. All the sensors etc., depend on a good ground in order to function properly. I had a grandam that had the ground strap fall off. It run like it had two spark plugs missing.
Cheers!
