My 93 4x4 extended-cab with the 5.2 is making a really scary noise from somewhere underneath the front end. It only happens when i'm driving very slowly, like backing out of my driveway, or turning at stoplights, or just accelerating after a stoplight. With the windows down it sounds like someone constantly dropping a tool on the ground, or metal clanging on metal. Like i said, it only happens when i'm goin real slow. And it's kinda freakin me out cuz i don't want anything to fall off while drivin down the road. Oh, I also noticed that my pickup kinda leans to the driver side, like the shocks are crapped out...and no, i'm not a fat@ss, maybe 170 lbs. And I believe the brake pads are shot to hell in the front as well, there's a little vibration and squeakin when i hit the brakes.
Anyways, I really need some help here. And I don't really want to spend mucho $$$$ just for the local dipstick of a mechanic to tell me that everything is bad and needs replacement.
