 Subject: PCM flash/ torque management

I have heard of the B&G flash for the PCM removing the factory set torque management which causes the slight off-idle hesitation. Does the Mike Leach or Kenne Bell flash do this? Will this be hard on the engine, axle, transmission, transfer case, etc. over time? Thanks.

mike leach can flash it, but the B&G has more of an aggressive program....it is also more money

Kenne Bell tried denying that I even had that feature on my PCM...I call him up and he goes, "Well we didn't even see the torque management feature on there so there wasn't anything to even remove." That's BS if you ask me, Kenne Bell tried talkin me out of removing a bunch of features from my pcm...like the speed limiter which the MP PCM doesn't have. I think they're just scared of lawyers and legal fees.
But yeah go w/ B&G or if Mike Leach has that option to remove it go for it, I've heard its awesome w/o it.

Torque management in the PCM goes back at least as far as 2000, I had it big time in my Ram. BG is the only place that has the ability to remove that feature from your pcm.

I have a 2000 4.7 Quad Dak with a 1 year old
KB SC system ..etc. All is well except the Torque Management "feature" in the Factory PCM bites (big bog just before upshift). KB dances around the topic of TM with me also. Can anyone provide the contact info for B&G. Thanx.

My understanding from the Moparchat Group for the Rams is that only the "recent" 5.9 L engines were equipped with TM. I don't have independent verification though.
