Message: arrrrghhh im having lotso trouble installing this cruckin thing...finally after getting the wiring right, i tried installing it right into the 29th pin on the 1st pcm connector (black)....didnt work right...now i installed it directly to the o2 sensor (on the vehicle harness, not the o2 sensor harness...it will wait to warm up, phase from green to stoich to red slowly, then read off the scale in the lean end even under w.o.t....i soldered the connections, had to, obviously use a long wire to connect, i used run of the mill 18 gauge wire....what am i doing wrong?!?!?!? if i cant get this right should i even attempt my n.o.s. kit?!?!?!?

Message: i think they changed the color of wire to the tan in 99.
where is the hot lead hooked up to? i hooked mine to the green/black wire on the driver side wire loom (key on wire) i also used 16 guage wire, but i think you should be fine with the 18 guage

Message: Hey Eric, does your gauge jump back and forth all the time? Mine always looks like a damn light show. Wanted to know if there is a better way to set it up?

Message: yes it is sopose to go back and forth between lean and rich when at a stop or crusing. under load it is sopose to go rich, and at when letting off the throttle, it is sopose to go lean.

Message: ryan, im 99.9% certain it is the tan wire with a white stripe...that is what the tech from autometer said, and its the only wire i got a reading at all from (trial and error isnt the best way to go when splicing sensitive wires):) make sure to SOLDER EVERY CONNECTION YOU MAKE!!! i didnt believe it either, but the electrical current is around 0.5V so it makes a big difference...i learned most of this thru guys on this webpage!!!
good luck, email me with questions/comments!

Sir,
You will need to solder the violet wire from the gauge to pin 24 which is a light green wire with a red stripe located at pin 24, on connector C1 of the computer.
