Message: What is a cheep way to lower the Torque range of a Dodge Dakota with a 5.9L Most of the Torque is mid range now. I don't want to replace the cam right now and I have added a 3inch flowmaster. I am looking to add a power aid TB spacer and a K&N air tube. Is there anything else with a low price tag say under or around $200 bucks that I could install in my garage in an hour?
I would like to have more low end torque than mid range. I know a chip would also fix this, but I do not want to have to buy 93 octance at this point either.
Thanks
P.S. I also have 3.92 gears and its a 4x4 Quad Cab

Message: Brian...just wondering where U got that the TBS were junk? I put an Airaid intake and a TBS on my 360 R/T and I can definately tell a difference. Not only can U tell the difference off the line but U can also feel the HP increase in the 3000 RPM range. I would like to know if U've had problems w/ yours though so I can know whether I should take it off. Bottom line I can feel the added power and it only cost me $150 for the intake and $80 for the TBS little over $200...unless there is problems down the road or U have proven facts or tests U have professionally done then I would recommend it.

Message: It was the intake not the spacer that gave you the extra power.

Message: The spacer is of no benefit on a Dodge Magnum engine. The design of the intake manifold prevents the swirling of the spacer from being a benefit.
