"I finally made it back to the Dyno after installing the HO cams and HO Intake.
My baseline numbers, prior to the HO install were 214 hp @ 4600rpm and 290 tq @ 3300 rpm.

The results, in my opinion were very impressive. While only making +15 peak HP, the increase from 4800 rpm to 5300 rpm ranged from +10 hp up to +31 hp !! I let out of the gas at 5300 rpm, mainly because prior dyno runs had shown I was making less power above 5000. The intersting thing about the HO cams and intake was that it was still pulling hard at 5300 rpm's, 220 hp !! with no signs of falling off. Had I pulled up to 5400 rpm, the hp increase would be in the range of +45 hp !!!!
In other words, this engine is now pulling well above 5000 rpm. Here are the peak numbers for the HO cam/Ho intake:
230 hp @ 4400 rpm / 290 tq @ 3650 rpm

I'm estimating the crankshaft HP @ 270 HP
270hp x .85= 229.5 hp
$250 WELL spent, in my opinion!"

What I have read this is the best mods.
