Message: Dan, the only thing that the intake improved a lot on my dak was the sound. Now don't get me wrong, it does pull better in the upper rpm's (not much, but a little) and it did add maybe .5 mpg, but by itself it didn't help a tremendous amount. What I am looking forward to though, is having the flow available when I drop a set of cams in this engine. Then I suspect that I will see more gains on the top end than people running just the stock air box.

Message: I paid $277 for it and I took my time installing it and it went on in an hour. The dyno sheet that came with the kit says 7hp increase at 5000rpm on this engine and just a seat of the pants guess is at least that much. Drivability has only improved, Ive had it on for 2 weeks. I just ordered a MBRP split cat-back exhaust today. Stay tuned

Message: Go with the Airaid, way cheaper. Never dynoed mine, the butt dyno shows something though. Quality product, wish that even this one wasn't as expensive as it is.
