Subject: RE: Dual Exhaust IP: Logged
Message: I have a 2000 QC with a 5.9, I wanted an aggresive exhaust but not too loud. I installed a Gibson cat back and I love it. Nice mellow sound but not annoying. My truck has 3.97 gears so debate about torqe is mute. I feels as if it has a little more power and gas mileage is about a 1/2 mpg more. Did not have to remove spare.

Message: I recently purchased a 2005 Dodge Dakota with the 4.7L. I'm considering putting dual exhaust on it, but I'm not sure what is going to give me the most bang for my buck performance wise. Any suggestions?

Message: I'm gonna take my 4.7 exhaust pipes outboard just under the frame on each side and run side pipes. I'll bet you all haven't thought of that dual exhaust setup.

Message: was wondering if duals on my 2002 4.7 Dakota would increase Mileage? Or maybe just remove muffler and run straight pipe out of cat. I have plenty of power but terrible mileage.
Any ideas

Message: There's only one real dual exhaust you can buy for a
Dakota dual from manafold back, spintech.
