I just order a a drop kit for my 01 SC R/T.. I think it was a 2/3 drop. I dont want to pay someone 200 bucks to install it. How hard is it to install drop springs and blocks?.

With the right equipment it is not hard but if you are not mechanically inclined and do not have access to tools and equipment pay someone 200 to do it.To install the rear blocks raise and support the rear of the truck on the frame. Remove the axle to spring bolts and raise and install blocks and longer u-bolts. The rear sway bar will require shorter links. As for front springs raise left side of vehicle with floor jack at frame behind front tire around door area. Remove tire and place jack stand under lower control arm. Place weight of vehicle on stand. Remove lower and upper ball joint nuts. Remove spindle assembly to the side as it will still be connected to the caliper flex line and tie rod end unless you have removed those. Tie a rope around spring and frame loosly as spring will want to pop out. Slowly raise vehicle with jack on frame and lower control arm will stay on jack and spring will extend. Now remove spring and install new one and reverse procedures to install. This I remind you is a backyard way of doing it and I do not advise anyone to do it this way but if you want to attempt it, go nuts. I would also advise you to install appropriate front shocks and rear shocks to go with the lowering kit. You will also have to cut your snubbers down as the vehicle will contact them during bumps. Hope I was some help.

I am also lowering my R/T with a 2/3 drop, my kit did not come with rear shorter sway bar end links and I was wondering where I could get a set and what size I should get. If I use a 2 inch coil spring set for the front, how will this affect the front sway bar?

Justin: Dc Tech obviously has not lowered (no offence)an R/T CC (and I assume you mean ClubCab when you state SC)
Can't go with 3" blocks, you will need to remove the snubbers all together with only 2" blocks and even then you may hit the frame at times (if you carry a spare any cargo at all or a heavy toneau cover). This is due to the fact that the R/T has a larger dia. axle tube(3-5/8" vs. 3" on other Daks.)and R/Ts are lower to begin with.
The 2" springs in the front; if you're thinking of the DJM ones you'll net about and inch. That's all.
You don't need to separate the upper BJs from the spindle, either.
My suggestion, get 2" blocks, you can have U-bolts made by a local spring shop (as you might not get the right 3-5/8" dia. with a kit) and go with the so called 2" springs. You should see a 1+2 drop. (about 2+3 compared to a 2wd sport, maybe a little better)
To go lower you'll have to consider c-notch for the rear frame and new control arms.
I speak from personal experience, but feel free to learn from your own trials. Good luck.
