I just got my Quad cab 4x4 sport plus 4.7 and am wondering what to do to it. I definitely want a good sounding exhaust system. Some more power wouldn't hurt either. Is the K&N filter worth it? Please let me know your thoughts on what I should do.

I paid $277 for it and I took my time installing it and it went on in an hour. The dyno sheet that came with the kit says 7hp increase at 5000rpm on this engine and just a seat of the pants guess is at least that much. Drivability has only improved, Ive had it on for 2 weeks. I just ordered a MBRP split cat-back exhaust today. Stay tuned.

I have a 2001 CC 4x4 4.7L, just had my Gibson exhaust installed today... big improvment, sounds great.... gibson headers get here on Monday

I would be interested in hearing if the headers make much difference. Most of the replys Ive been reading say hardly at all.
