My truck is a 2000 CC 4.7L auto 3.55 open rear
Now that that part is done..
I noticed today when I turn left, I got a squeaking from the front end, can't tell which side it's on really, and its only when I turn left, not right. What could cause this? My brakes don't sqeak (except VERY faintly when I first ease my foot onto them) so he has nothing to do with braking, it makes the squeak when I break or accelerate thru a turn(such as sitting in a left turn lane, then going).
Anyone got an idea what would cause this? Perhaps something just needing lubing?

i had the same problem with my 01 CC makin a noise when i turned hard left...i just picked it up form the deal...they said it was from a wheel stop that needed to be oiled...i went out to see if i could get it too make the noise after they oiled it but...nothing....so maybe thats your problem.

It only does it sometimes, generally in the mornings when I first take her out for the day it is nice and quiet, but right now as I came home for lunch and it'd been sitting in the sun all day, it did it on all my left turns.
It isn't very loud, just loud enough to know it's there, and actually only sqeaks when the wheels is turned a certain distance (if I turn hard left, or very very slightly left, it won't make it, it's only when the wheel is about 1/4 of a turn to the left)

mine did it when i would turn hard left...what year is your dak?...if it is still under warrentie i would take it back to the dealer and have them hear it....and if they dont hear anything...do what i did take it back every day till they fix it.

It's a 2000, still under warranty.
Grr, I just got it out of the dealer this past monday after a hydroplaning accident, but I guess I wanna get this looked at before it has a chance to get bad since I don't know what it is exactly.
