ok, here is one for ya. 92 318 auto dak, truck runs ok 0-45mph as soon as i hit 55-65mph it starts bucking and spurting. If i accelerate it goes away, or if i cruise at 80mph+ it runs oretty smooth?? I already replaced the tps and egr valve, and had injectors cleaned. In order to drive around 60 i have to accelerate to about 65 then shut off coast til 50 the accel again. anoying huh? Thanks

One problem that I had with my '92 is that I one of bushings in the distributor shaft had wore causing a slight bucking because of a jump in the timing. Even though the timing is controlled by the computer, it still can jump causing the truck to buck and chuck, especially at certain RPMs.

This may not be the problem, but it could be a start.

I know what the problem most likely is..I have a '92 with the 5.2 Magnum, before you change any more parts or even remove the distributor, you have to make sure the distributor is properly indexed...the computer adjusts the timing but if
the base line is not set properly you will have a bucking/surging type of feel..I have a tech bulletin I can email to you about this...takes about 45 minutes to do.........
