work the intake side of the engine before even thinking about headers.

Injection is nice, but i'd rather be blown.

Try new plugs and ignition coil, relatively cheap. Reccommend Autolite or Bosch Platinum +4's and Accel Coil.

the stock manifold drops off at about 4000rpm. the M1 makes power all the way to the limiter (5200)

someone put it on a RT and did a before and after dyno test. it made around 25 more peak rwhp, and at 4500 or so the M1 was making 40 rwhp MORE than the stock manifold!

it looks harder than it really is. it takes about 4 hours to do if you know a little about mechanics.

i did the M1 first and still have not did the pcm (will not do the pcm now because of the blower) if you do the pcm first, it will shift even higher in the rpm's and with the stock manifold, that would not do you anygood.

do you have a auto or 5speed?

i would suggest to do the M1 first. the PCM i A LOT easier though

i live 2.5 hours north of fresno, and i would be willing to do the work at a reasonable price.. i just got done tearing the top end down on my dads v6, imagine the m1 cant be any diff then installing a reg keg.. also for all you californians, if you want a good free trick, take your egr out and plug the hole, but leave the egr sensor pluged into the wiring harness,,

i beleve it stands for Exhaust Gas Recirclulation Valve.

kota318, dont worry about it, its not on your truck. i think the last year with EGR on a magnum engine, was 95 or 96.

black dak racer, if your stock cat is not bad, i wouldnt bother with the carsound. i went from a stock 2 1/2" cat to a 2 1/2" carsound, and didnt notice a differance. if there was a diff, it was not worth the price of the cat.
