Subject: upgradeing the stock computer IP: Logged
Message: I was just wondering if anyone with a 5.2 dak has spent the cash on the computer upgrade and do you notice better MPG and HP because I have some extra cash from painting a car and was just curious so drop me so oppions.

Message: If your interested I know a vendor who is willing to sell the PCM's for around 280 to 300 check out group buys.
Note: you must use premium fuel w/ a PCM.

Message: I just put in a mopar performance pcm in my 93 5.2 incresed my fuel milage by 1 mpg. It also has much better acceleration. the only draw back is you have to run 91 octain or it pings.I got mine at glendora dodge for $235.

Message: i added a JET computer module for about 2.30 i think and noticed MPG and HP on a 97 5.2 and its just a plug in addtion

Message: HEY Eric I live in Hesperia and work in Chino I have been buying parts at Glendora dodge for about 25 years (it was Norm king dodge then).A freind of mine is the parts manager there.We were in a mopar car club in the late 70,s early 80,s.What kind of a Dakota do you have?
also I forgot to mention if you send your old PCM to mopar they will give you a $100 rebate.

Message: TONY, i have a 98 CC with the 5.2. what about you? for the computer they dont have one for he 5speeds, so i have to have it custom programed. just wondering, do you think your friend can give me a good price on some headers?
Thats a far drive to work, do you hit all the trafic on the 60?

Message: it is only about48 miles and it usualy takes about 1hr.
I have a 93 cc 5.2 4spdauto.
Ask for Matt tell him I refered you to him. They usualy sell under list on most of there parts.

Message: Yes I think I well be there I have another freind who is a mopar freak he has 7 chalangers(1 is a hemi) 3cudas a 70 roadruner and a 68 dart.He goe's to all the mopar events.

I live less than 5 minutes away from Glendora Dodge. That is where I bought my truck actually. Those guys are nice but don't seem to know anything about the 4.7s at all.

Message: Not sure about this computer but on www.performancecenter.com I saw and want the venom 400 chip that cost 299 and some change, claims to increase horse and torque 25% and is dyno certified.
