Message:
Should I put 3" pipes all the way back from the precat. And take hollow out the main cat.? With a 40 series Flowmaster?

This is going on R/T 01

Hey,
I have 3" exhaust all the way from the headers back w/ no precats and no main cat and true dual exhaust and lemme tell you it sounds SWEET. BUT you might lose a ton of low end torque, I made up for it w/ heads & cam but if you don't care about torque loss and like sound better then I'd go for it.

Single 3" from the cat back should not hurt your torque, but you need to get some headers and an aftermarket cat to cure the main problem. Those pre-cats and y-pipe is a killer.

Yeah even though it is illegal to mess w/ the cats...if you live in a small city w/ no emissions testing I'd yank em off.

Tell them you need some exhaust work done on your farm truck. Hell yeah for small towns.
