Subject: STRANDED! Truck IP: Logged
Message: Ok heres the situation, started my truck after comin out of the grocery store. It started, then all of a sudden the truck died. I couldnt restart it, so made sure i had gas. Gas level was fine. Then i made sure i retained a good spark, which turned out to be fine. Then i took some gas and poured it down my throttle body. The truck started right up for about 3 sec. Im thinking my fuel pump is shot. What do you think? I also checked my plug to see if it was soaked or dry after trying to start it. The plug turned out to be Dry as heck.

Message: check fuel pressure. If you have no fuel pressure, make sure you have power to the pump. It would be silly to change a fuel pump over a bad fuse or relay.

Message: Not a 100% sure, but usually the relays are under the hood in a power distribution box on one of the fenderwells. As for the fuse it could be in the same box as the relay or in the fuse panel in the truck. Looking in the owners manual might be a good place to start.
