Message: I dont know the specs....but i installed them in my durango 4.7, they were well worth the money...go to www.krcperformance.com and look at the 4.7 page it shows a dyno. The best part was the 20ft trq increase across the power band!

Message: Wait until after the 14th to order as Marty/Katy have the install tool and instructions on back order. You can always buy the cams seperately for $73.60 (ea) from Metro Dodge in Snellville, GA. They sell the HO Intake Manifold for $161.00 as well. All together not a bad price.

Message: If I remember correct.
HO Intake 243° .472"
HO Exhaust 254° .429"
Reg. Intake 240° .440"
Reg. Exhaust 254° .429"
116 lobe separation 17 degrees overlap.
Yes the intake has more lift than the exhaust, That is not a typo.

Message: that's suprising that the exhaust is the exact same for the HO as the regular ... I wonder if there is anything (and how much) to gain with opening up the exhaust valve a little more ...
I bet DC is keeping that as their 'ace in the hole' in case someone actually decides to make a truck half as good as the dakota...

Message: FOr my Cams I paid $55 each and $120 for the manifold for a 2001 jeep HO... THe only problem is that the IAT sensor from my 2000 dak is threaded and the boss for the new manifold is not. I jsut made an o-ringed plug for it today. It is going in on Saturday.

Message: I got mine at Fred Smith Dodge in Wakefield RI for that price. Then I got the install tool through Marty at KRC Performannce. My total investment is only about $250.00. Like I said I would be darn surprised if the dealer would let you walk than sell for a good price.

Message: The intake is just designed for more upper RPM power as far as I can tell. Goes good with the cams and even better with the exhaust opened up.

Message: CW... I was thinking that the reason they did not increase the lift on the exhaust side is eitehr that there is no improvement of there will be clearance issues... so if you decide to go that route just take all the precautions man...

Message: CW - there you go, taking one for the team again! Let us know how that custom grind works out. If it does better than the HO, I actually know of a place nearby that does a dynomite job on cams, but I still can't find a single shop in Nashville (bloody redneck sodding Nashville!!) that ports & polishes heads. Someone did put me on to Jimmy Bridges (if you don't know who is is look at the NHRA super stock records) but I don't even want to know how much he's going to charge, plus he has about a 3 month turn around. I'd like to get my 4.7 up to 300 hp with normal asperation...
