Message: What would be a fair price to for the installation of headers on a 4.7 dak if I took it to a mechanic? I don't want to fool around with the engine cause I'm not that experianced but I don't want to get screwed having someone else install them? help!

Message: JBA's site had them listed at 3 hours for the 4.7L from most professional installers. So most others shouldn't be much off from that. The going rate of labour is about $65/hour (depending on where you live), so it could be up to 195 (3 x 65). I wouldn't pay anymore than that though as a general guideline.

Message: Find a shop that did it before and it will be cheaper. I was charged 125.00 (I think it was a good deal) and that included the re-torque at 1,000 miles. (Not bad for California)
