Subject: Decent intake for 4.7 IP: Logged
Message: A 2 chambered flowmaster did seem to lower my low-end torque. Would a decent intake system help restore my bottom end? K&N?,360? How about a trottle body spacer? Going though numerous posts i noticed that 5.2 and 5.9 owners don't give the TBS much support. How about a TBS for a 4.7?

2000 SLT 4.7 auto, 3.92LSD, k&n drop-in air filter, 2 chambered flowmaster catback untrue 2-1/2" dual exhaust, synthetic mobil 1, mike leach flash chip on the way. Only 7,700 original miles when i bought it stock. I've only had the truck a month so I'm new to dakotaland. This will hold me until a find a decent intake system.

Message: Well, I just put on a K&N FIPK and a Dynomax 3" cat-back system and didn't feel any loss in torque, and also gained some power.
