Message: I want to make a home made intake for my 2001 R/T. What parts do i need and where i can buy them. I went to home depot and did not find anything that i can use... Any pics or point my in the right direction.. Thanks

Message: You can get some 3" to 3" "fernco" couplings. They are used in plumbing often. Use the thinner grade PVC (not sch 40 or DWV). Typically the thinner stuff is used for vents or irrigation.
All in all, it should set you back more than $60 (and thats paying $50 for the cone filter)
