It depends on the application and 2WD or 4WD. 69mm, 70mm, 72mm.

for the price you can't beat a Fastman re-worked throttle-body. Dan Arcand is a top-notch guy and is over half the price of a new billet piece that does the same thing. not gonna knock the F&B pieces, as i'm sure they have a great product. but if it comes down to spending $200 or $400+ for something thats right at even in regards to performance, i'll take the one that costs less.

If you have not replaced the TB on your 2k Dak, 4.7 it came with a 65 mm, in 2001 they came with a 68 mm. I went with Mopar 68 mm and i noticed a difference, if you go to a 70 mm make sure you have good exhaust flow and air intake is crucial also. 72 mm would be too much for a stock motor.

Don't forget.. with the F&B, you keep your stock TB. With others, they'll charge you a core charge.. which works out to be about what the F&B costs... The F&B tbs are completely new, billet TBs that outflow anything out there. The radius' create a much higher intake velocity. Each TB has a 30 day return policy! Don't like it? Send it back. No strings. They work.

rtdkota...flow is flow. My first TB came with the truck so trading it in was no big deal. So in the end I paid $200 for a fastman 68mm TB that will flow the same as F&B's 68mm TB. I've had my 68mm on for several months now and love it. Eventually I may upgrade to the 71mm fastman but we'll see.

They have been available for a while... Contact Bruce Bridges for info at 858-720-9225 (he is mr. F&B).

Flow is flow... The Fastman piece is a good piece. The flowrates of a 68mm Fastman vs. a 68mm F&B-- The F&B flows more. Compared the 70mm, and the 72mm (to a 71)... The F&B has radius' that you cannot do with a reworked stock piece. F&B use to do stock TBs, they've switched to billet so they'd have complete control over the design. They've achieved that.

When you're ready to upgrade to a 71, let me know.. I'll send you a 70mm tester and a 72mm tester... You tell me which is better for your setup.

I work with these everyday-- They are a quality piece.

Sam

That's why I was curious as speedtweaks does not have a "But" link on them.
