How can I tell if the Jet Chip is Stage 1, Stage 2, etc.

And also, is there a way to tell if the T-stat has been change to a lower temp one?

Stage 2 chip will have an S at the end of the part number.

The only way to check to see if there was a change in T-Stat is to look at the operating temperature. If it stay close to the left bar, then it prolly is 180. If it moves closer to the middle, but not quite to the Temp symbol, then it is prolly the stock one. Do the temp test when you are moving and not standing still...

does he have a boost guage?

bernd i have a question for ya! if a blower is making 6#'s of boost on a 360, and if you put the same setup on a 318, would you see more boost because of the less displacement?

OK, I know the truck has Flowmasters, single cat, dual exhaust...

Is there any way I can tell which Flowmasters they are, 40s or what?

Thanks again.

Barnes- I am not sure if they stamp the part number on the outside of the muffler, I think they do though. If they do, get the part number off the muffler and go to Pep boys, or any plae where they sell flowmasters and check the part number. Or you can check the part number online at the flowmaster website.
