Do you mean the whole assembly, or just the bulbs. If it is just the bulbs, I would hope you were able to light up the road like a sports stadium.

Hahah, heck no. Its the entire housing, both sides. Are they going to be hard to replace?

VERY easy to replace, I took mine out last Thurs. However, you will need some torx drivers -- I do not remember the sizes, but there are two different ones) and remember, do not touch the bulb/contact on the headlights!

Info about the lights. Well there regular replacement housings. The lights are brand new. I know there are alot of Dakota's out there that have faded lights, mine are pretty bad. This comapny is called Headlight warehouse. I lost their number, but if i find it will repost! The headlights were pretty cheap, i paid 140$ for both.

If your clear lenses are cloudy, take some 3000 3M polishing compound to them, it only takes about 5 minutes per side. The lenses will turn crystal clear with little effort. My paint man showed me the trick....

I know that this post is old, but...

Regarding the polishing compound trick, I assume that this is on the outside right?

Yes, this is on the outside. I've done it on cars with just some liquid wax, it works wonders.

The size of torx you need I believe are #10 and #15. Be careful if you haven't taken them off yet. I just went this recently, and I managed to round out two of the screws. It was a little wierd since I didn't turn them too hard and these things are supposed to be able to take some power. Anyway, they were a major pain in the ass when I had to use the "easy outs". Just be careful. I got some cool blues and I am extremely happy with them, and there not even close to the best you can get. Enjoy!
