I have an O1' 4.7L 5 spd. and last night I was comming home from school and I lost 3rd & 4th gear. They just dissapeared!!! I've call the dealership and now I will have to drive a rent truck for a while and it only has 10,000 miles on it.

best guess; the pin that holds 3-4 to the rail.This is a truck trans and not made to be shifted fast,also why the R/T has an auto.

Odd,very weird,must have been bad steel ,a casting void or something like that.Were you hitting the shift lever with a baseball bat to change gears??? ;-} Sorry coundn't let it alone

I'm 6'4" and 245 and have been known to forget my own strength from time to time. But I realy don't think that was the case, hopefully it was just a fluke.
